With the release of Magento 2.4.4 in March, as covered here, Adobe Magento continues to push forward in their desire to offer increased performance and security, while improving the end user experience.
As part of this development Adobe have updated their up-coming release schedule for Magento.
It is important for all businesses and Admins to be aware of the release schedule to continue to improve both their own and customer experience.
End of Support Date for 2.3.x
Adobe has moved the End of Support [EOS) date for Magento 2.3.x to September 8th 2022.
This decision was made to allow Merchants additional time to prepare and adopt this transition period.
Support for the older releases will continue during the coming weeks and months ahead of schedule.
Businesses that stay current with the latest updates are best protected from security vulnerabilities, remain PCI compliant, and gain access to the newest features.
Magento 2.4.5
Magento’s next big release is on August 9th 2022.
Magento 2.4.5 pre-release of July 26th contained, according to the official DevDocs, over 290 quality fixes. The official release will again improve performance, security and platform experience.
Additional Security Patches for 2.3.7 & 2.4.3
As with previous version Magento continues to offer security patches to enable merchants to remain compliant and secure as they transit. Security patches 2.3.7-p4 & 2.4.3-p3 will also be released in the month of August.
