Magento allows you to add as many products to your store as you wish. You also have the opportunity to fill in any information you want about the product to entice customers into buying it. It is possible to add ‘Meta Information’ which will make your product easier to find from a search engine such as Google when a customer types in the specific words that you create as your tags.
To create a new product on Magento, click on ‘Catalog’ on the navigation bar of the backend of your website, then click ‘Manage Products’. On this page you can edit any existing products you have in your store. However, to create a new one click on ‘Add Product’ and select the correct information from the two boxes shown then click on ‘Continue’. From here you can fill in any information you want about your products such as;
Title
Description
Price
Weight
You can also add images to the product to show customers what the product specifically is.
