Performance under pressure
Resources and caching designed around Magento’s real workload, not a generic website profile.
Magento hosting specialists since 2009
For stores that cannot afford slow checkouts or avoidable downtime.
DX3 designs, monitors and supports your hosting stack 24/7, on UK-hosted infrastructure. Choose shared, allocated-resource cloud, dedicated or clustered hosting, with one website migration included.
Magento-aware platform support. Direct access to specialists.
Verified infrastructure controls
AOC available on request for your assessor or acquiring bank. Your store’s own PCI scope still depends on its payment and data flows.
Hosting should remove risk
Slow checkouts, unpredictable peaks and unresolved platform faults cost revenue. DX3 combines Magento-tuned infrastructure with people who take responsibility for the hosting layer.
Resources and caching designed around Magento’s real workload, not a generic website profile.
Direct access to a team that understands the application, database, caching and infrastructure together.
Start on the right-sized platform and move from shared to cloud, dedicated or clustered hosting as demand changes.
Four clear routes
Every option is managed and backed by Magento specialists. If the choice is not obvious, ask us—we will recommend the smallest sensible platform.
A managed shared platform for focused stores that do not need their own server.
Shared infrastructure; package-specific capacity.
As you grow: Move to cloud when the workload needs its own VM allocation.
A private virtual server with allocated vCPUs and RAM for growing stores and busier catalogues.
Allocated vCPUs and RAM in a private virtual server.
As you grow: Increase your resource tier or move to dedicated hardware.
A physical server reserved for your business, with a virtualised managed environment and room for sustained workloads.
From 8 physical cores / 16 threads, 64GB RAM and 2 × 1TB NVMe in RAID1.
As you grow: Choose a larger dedicated configuration or separate services across nodes.
Separate service workloads across dedicated nodes for demanding stores. Standard clusters are not HA.
Per node: Xeon E-2388G, 8 physical cores / 16 threads, 64GB RAM, 2 × 480GB SSD in RAID1.
As you grow: Size the individual service nodes around the workload; no automatic failover.
One managed service, with different levels of resource isolation.
| Hosting option | Resources & isolation | Backups | Support | Migration | From / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shared Magento hosting | Shared infrastructure; package-specific capacity. | Daily off-site, 7 days; additional VM-level backups; restores included | 24/7 managed infrastructure | One site included | £20.88+ VAT |
| Magento cloud hosting | Allocated vCPUs and RAM in a private virtual server. | Daily off-site, 7 days; additional VM-level backups; restores included | 24/7 managed infrastructure | One site included | £89+ VAT |
| Dedicated Magento hosting | From 8 physical cores / 16 threads, 64GB RAM and 2 × 1TB NVMe in RAID1. | Daily off-site, 7 days; additional VM-level backups; restores included | 24/7 managed infrastructure | One site included | £199+ VAT |
| Magento Power Cluster | Per node: Xeon E-2388G, 8 physical cores / 16 threads, 64GB RAM, 2 × 480GB SSD in RAID1. | Daily off-site, 7 days; additional VM-level backups; restores included | 24/7 managed infrastructure | One site included | £1,300+ VAT |
Shared infrastructure hosts multiple customers. Cloud plans specify allocated vCPUs and RAM within the virtual platform. Dedicated hardware is single-customer and virtualised for recovery. Standard Power Clusters separate workloads but do not include automatic failover.
Why DX3
We have supported ecommerce infrastructure since 2009. Specialists monitor the platform, respond to incidents 24/7 and work directly with store owners and their developers.
Talk through your storeOS and security updates, PHP, databases, caching and search services handled by DX3.
Hosted in UK data centres, with direct access to the DX3 support team.
We handle infrastructure and platform issues. Your developer handles Magento code, extensions and application changes.
Daily off-site copies retained for seven days, additional VM backups and included restores.
Magento technology, properly integrated
We select and tune the web, PHP, cache, search and data layers around the Magento version and workload. Platform compatibility is checked against the store’s requirements.
PHP process capacity and compiled-code caching for uncached requests and background work.
Efficient request handling and full-page caching, with checkout and personalised traffic treated correctly.
Application caching and database tuning that reduce repeated work and help manage demand.
OpenSearch or Elasticsearch chosen for your Magento release and catalogue requirements.
Recovery is part of the service
Every managed package includes daily off-site file and database backups, retained for seven days in a separate data centre. Restores are included.
A daily off-site copy provides a recovery point for the store’s files and database, with seven days of retention.
Additional VM-level backups cover the underlying virtualised services across all packages, including single-tenant dedicated hosting.
Contact the DX3 team to arrange a restore. Backup recovery is not automatic failover; recovery time depends on the incident and the data being restored.
UK infrastructure
Our Magento platforms are hosted in UK data centres, with the specific facility confirmed for your package before deployment. Dedicated servers and Power Cluster nodes include a 1Gbps network port and unlimited bandwidth.
Off-site file and database backups are held in a separate data centre. We manage the hosting platform; your developer remains responsible for Magento code, extensions and application changes.
One website transfer included
We agree the method and change window around your store, data and integrations. Planning covers how to test before launch, handle live orders and DNS changes, and respond if cutover needs to be reversed.
Customer experience
“The level of service we received has been second to none!”
“excellent customer service, proactive interventions before issues escalate, and a platform that's scaled with us over time”
“With DX3Webs, you never feel like just another number.”
A practical hosting recommendation
Share your website, current hosting and the problem you want to solve. Include an indication of traffic or order volume, busy trading periods and major integrations so we can recommend the right platform.
We will compare shared, cloud, dedicated and clustered hosting against the workload.
Frequently asked questions
It depends on catalogue size, concurrent shoppers, integrations, indexing and peak orders. Shared hosting can suit focused stores; cloud offers allocated vCPUs and RAM; dedicated hosting provides single-customer hardware; clusters separate service workloads across nodes. We recommend the smallest sensible platform with a route to grow.
Yes. DX3 hosts Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce on managed infrastructure in UK data centres. The service includes platform management, 24/7 technical incident support and monitoring. Magento application updates, extensions and development remain with your developer.
One website transfer is included with every managed plan. We review the store, database and integrations, then agree the migration scope and change window. Tell us about live orders and any additional sites so cutover, testing and rollback arrangements can be planned.
DX3 manages operating-system and security updates, PHP, databases, Redis, Varnish and search services, with monitoring, technical incident support and backup restoration. We do not edit Magento code; application updates, extension changes and development remain with you or your agency.
Our Magento infrastructure is hosted in UK data centres, with the specific facility confirmed for your package before deployment. Daily off-site file and database backups are stored in a separate data centre. Contact us if you have specific data-location requirements.
Yes. We host both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce, subject to the version and technical requirements of the store.
Yes. Hyvä storefronts are supported, and we can advise on the hosting resources appropriate for the store.
Our Magento platforms can use PHP-FPM and OPcache, Redis and Varnish, with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch selected according to Magento version compatibility.
Files and databases are backed up daily to a separate data centre and retained for seven days. Restores are included. All packages also include additional VM-level backups of the underlying virtualised services, including single-tenant dedicated hosting. Backup recovery is not automatic failover.
Magento cloud servers have allocated vCPUs and RAM, not a promise of pinned CPU time or exclusive physical cores. Dedicated hosting reserves the physical server for one customer. Dedicated services are virtualised for management and VM-level backups, without unrelated customers sharing that dedicated hardware.
No. Standard Magento Power Clusters separate service workloads across dedicated nodes, but are not HA and do not include automatic failover. Daily off-site file and database backups, additional VM-level backups and restoration support provide recovery options.
Dedicated servers and Power Cluster nodes include a 1Gbps port and unlimited bandwidth. The 100% Network Uptime Guarantee provides a Performance Credit of 5% of the monthly fee for each 60 minutes of network downtime, capped at 50%. Measurement starts when a customer opens a support ticket and ends when the server can transmit and receive data again. This covers network availability, not uninterrupted Magento application availability; the service terms apply.
Yes. We work alongside development agencies, providing infrastructure, monitoring, migrations and platform-level escalation while the agency retains its client relationship.
DX3 operates PCI-focused infrastructure and can provide the applicable Attestation of Compliance on request. Your own PCI scope and responsibilities still depend on how your store handles payments and data.
