Starmaker

Starmaker are a Reading based Youth Theatre group and were one of our 1st clients when we 1st set up shop way back in 2001.  They have progressed from a simple static site through various content management systems and now use WordPress.  Wordpress is a simple to use CMS which allows the people on the ground to maintain and manage their own site.  They recently approached us looking to revitalise their site and to expand their online presence with the introduction of a Box Office to help them sell and manage the sales of their tickets.  For this we installed the excellent Magento store which will grow with their needs.

We worked closely with their marketing / PR team and tweaked the site till it was exactly what they were after.  All elements of the site can be managed by them without any expensive ongoing work by designers or developers.

We also helped Starmaker setup and manage a mailing list / newsletter service which is vital for reaching out to their community of supporters and young performers.

Starmaker has been using Dx3webs to design and implement our website’s from the very start, this being our fourth.

Each one has been more advanced than the previous and our current site has allowed us to be more proactive and is currently getting over 20000 hits each year. Our target of 100,000 hits will be easier to achieve with the different tools that Andy has incorporated.

We considered other designers, but Dx3webs are very proactive and takes their time to understand exactly what we need and on each occasion has delivered, especially with our latest site.

North Uist Medical Practice

We were contacted by Dr Wheeler who was looking into creating a website for his medical practice.  Initially he was looking at creating the site by hand using a web creation tool.  After discussing his needs we suggested that a content management system would be ideal and in the long run would save significant time and allow him to devolve the management of different sections.  We took care of the domain registration and installed WordPress which is a very user friendly CMS.  Dr Wheeler was quite happy to manage the site from there.

As part of our managed service any problems or issues encountered were quickly resolved.

I have been very impressed by the service and level of expertise offered by Dx3web. The initial setup of a WordPress enabled site was taken care of entirely by them – my only input being my domain name request!

Subsequently I was given lots of helpful advice relating to my first attempts at site building. This ranged from organising my permalinks, to helping set up site backups, to tailored help with particular CSS / HTML queries that I had.

C&L Floral Designs

C&L Floral Designs manufacture custom made silk wedding flowers and have a catalog of about 3000 items.  Initially when we 1st met them we listened to what they required and installed an e-commerce package based on OScommerce and a blogging platform.  As they have grown and the market changed we have migrated them over to the fabulous Magento e-commerce suite.  (see our Magento page for details).

Dx3webs take complete care of all out website needs all year around. We simply explained what we wanted and they gave us various options. We recently transfered to a new Magento e-commerce package which offers us amazing features, looks great and performs very well.  We also occupy some 1st page results in Google for some good key words.

Everytime we think of a new requirement the answer is implimented in no time at all.
