How to add www retrospectively to plesk domain.
Plesk is just wonderful.. when you happen to know where Parallels hide all the goodies. While browsing around forums we requently find people asking the same question.. If I create a domain in plesk but dont tick either the www box or the mail box how do I add it afterwards?
You may have had good reason to leave the boxes unticked when you created the domain but now you need them and someone has hidden the button you need.
Like so many things it’s easy when you know how.
Activate Mail
Domains > select the domain > mail accounts > mail settings > Activate mail service on domain
www
Domains > select the domain > Domain Administration Drop Down > Rename domain > and one again you will get a change to tick the www box.
If a committee has sat down for a week and tried to find a better place to hide this setting they would have failed.
